Welcome To My Dream Come True

My story proves that dreams are never too far out of reach. It takes time, an immense amount of prayer, and a crazy step of faith to reach the spot where you can truly say that you are pursuing what you were created to do.  

 

I was never one of those kids who knew what they wanted to do when they grew up. My dream job was constantly changing, and my passions were hazy. I graduated high school in June of 2019, confident that I was making the right decision to pursue a nursing degree at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. My first semester was a whirlwind, a sweet season of friendships + freedom. By the end of the first semester, I realized that my desire to pursue a nursing degree had been only temporary. 

 

In the second semester of my freshman year, I transferred to a school back home to figure out what the next step was for my life. Covid exploded in the middle of that semester, giving me a reason to drop out of college entirely. I worked for my parent’s business until the Lord instilled a dream in my heart and brought it to life. Graphic design was something I had only dabbled with a little in high school, but in April of 2022, Delight Design House was born. 

 

I developed a hunger to learn everything I could about graphic design. I started with a few small projects, but now Delight Design has grown to be a career. I am passionate about helping small businesses achieve their goals and bring their dreams to life.

 

Looking back now, it is easy to see that the Lord was working in the easy and hard times. When I felt lonely, I was never alone. When I felt attacked, I had an advocate. When I felt lost, I had never been more found. Let me be the one to say, when you delight in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart!
